Common raven, “fiach dubh” in Irish-Gaelic. These birds are very intelligent,
entertaining and held in high regard in many cultures, especially in Celtic
and Irish lore and legend.
The background landscape is taken from the
County Antrim in Northeast Ireland with the area’s famous hedgerows.
Native animals and critters use the hedgerows for food, protection and hiding
places.
Hedgerows are also used for lines of demarcation and boundaries
by the people living in the area.
Custom designed and hand painted on
a single 12 inch ceramic tile.

"Julia did an amazing job and is very busy. She communicated
well with the list of wild flowers and pictures I sent her, of the blooms
here at our home."
