Timeless, enchanting landscape scenes based on the critically acclaimed woodblock prints and art of master Japanese ukiyoe artist Utagawa Hiroshige. Decorative tile art murals.


Hiroshige is renowned and distinguished as an accomplished master in the ukiyo-e woodblock printing method. Acknowledged with having created up to 8,000 prints of general, everyday life and absorbing landscape scenes in Japan's Edo period.
All of the paintings shown are custom designed and hand painted on ceramic or porcelain tiles.

"Hagoshi No Tsuki". (Moon behind leaves and waterfall). Painting based on Twenty-eight Views of the Moon series. (Tsuki Niju Hakkei no Uchi).

"Massaki and the Suijin-no Mori Shrine on the Sumidagawa". (Sumida River). Traditional vertical layout of Massaki and the Suijin-no Mori Shrine on the Sumidagawa. Suijin Shrine and Massaki on the Sumida River based on One Hundred Famous Views of Edo series. (Meisho Edo Hyakkei).
