Hiroshige is renowned and distinguished as an accomplished master in
the ukiyo-e woodblock printing method. Acknowledged with having created
up to 8,000 prints of general, everyday life and absorbing landscape scenes
in Japan's Edo period.
All of the paintings shown are custom designed
and hand painted on ceramic or porcelain tiles.
