Portraits based on ukiyoe, woodblock prints from Kitagawa Utamaro and Utagawa Kunisada. Tile art portraits for kitchen backsplash.

Appealing tile art portraits that Julia designed to tie in with and complement the Japanese themed decor and motif of Patricia's home and kitchen.
Each portrait was custom hand painted on a single 12 inch ceramic tile.

"Heavy Snow at Years End" based on left panel from the triptych Seibo no Miyuki, late 1840’s, by artist Utagawa Kunisada.
